Qwit Pushin Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Absolutely amazing! I keep going back over each image to take in all the detail. Outstanding build. How long to complete?
Thor Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Thank again for nice words, i really appreciate it How long to complete? It took about 2 months on and off to build
ewaskew Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nice detail on the weathering man. It looks real good
Dave42 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Looks awesome. Is it just me, or does it looks like there is fuel in those lines in that second engine pic? Again, Awesome.
Mr Dedo Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Is this some of the brake drum filing finishing? Terrific effect!
Bernard Kron Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Masterful detailing, the engine compartment in particular. Those air cleaners, and all the other aspects of the carburetion in general, are a real inspiration.
Terry Jessee Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Wow. That is so crisp, and the weathering is just right.
bbowser Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 1 more to the list of droolers. Awesome job!
Agent G Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 The first picture from the engine is amazing! Like the carb linkage - beautiful built and perfect weathering. Love it! Oh goodness yes. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that first pic is a model, not the real deal. Very, very, nice my friend, a build to proud of for sure. G
Janne Herajärvi Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Nice and realistic looking weathering. Engine wiring looks great.
krishna.iskandana Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 great job on the rust detailing and the weathering....
JasonFL Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Looks so realistic, that rust and smoke from the exhaust on the door look fantastic. Really cool build, nice work.
mr moto Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 That looks RIGHT!! Great realism. It just looks perfect!
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Love it. One of the most convincing pieces of weathering I've ever seen.
jdcar32 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I see the Scandinavian enthusiasm for traditional hot rods carries over to models as well as full size rods. I've seen alot of very cool full size builds come out of your area, this is also a very cool build! I like the scale look of your detailing especially.
Del Austin Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Great looking 3-Window. very realistic. I like the fact that you used a 4 banger to add to the realism.
Joker Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Realistic survivor 32 Thor Not a rat but rather a hot rod pushed to the back of the shop.
Webb Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Your attention to detail is STUNNING! Engine, paint, weathering all perfect. Right down to the dirt in the tire treads! I REALLY like your style Thor! Chris
deathskull59 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 cool rat rod ilike the rusty old bare metal look looks real.
Thor Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Thank you for comments It makes me feel good inside Makes me want to try another one that is tired and had it share of abuse over the years, maybe a 40`s chevy
rmvw guy Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I'm back to visit again ! Still one of my personal favs, I think the engine is what sets it apart from the rest. I love it!
Pat Minarick Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Really like this ! How did you do the finish on the exhaust?
