Tonioseven Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 (edited) Hey. I built this a few years ago when the kit was widely available and forgot about it until I visited my old Geocities website. I remember the paint & clear were both from Duplicolor, brakes were XSTuning items, wheels, mufflers, and tires are Fujimi. I believe I got the rally stripes from Marc Nellis. Thanks for lookin'. ewaskew Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The paint is very nice and the build looks real good. Was that airbrush or can?
Jantrix Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Hey. I built this a few years ago when the kit was widely available and forgot about it until I visited my old Geocities website. Forgot about it? Where is the model now that you could forget somwething so well done? That looks awesome. Really well done.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Love this model, and the paint is perfect. Great work, Tonio.
Adam deCoste Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 That looks great! Do you have any engine pics?
mikemodeler Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 How could you forget something that looks that good??? That would be front and center in my display case! Nice job on that Chevell Tonio, love the paint job and the stance

Dave42 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Wow, love this one. Incredible shine and I like the trim around the fender wells. Yeah, I wouldn't be forgetting this one. It would be proudly displayed.
Hawk312 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh....I remember that one from the "other" forum way back when. I still love it!
Tonioseven Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Thanks guys. I sold it a few years ago and meant to build another one but I never got around to it. It's a Revell "Wheels of Fire" snap kit so there's no engine.
RodneyBad Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Great looking Chevelle Paint looks Awesome..
Qwit Pushin Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Well-done, sir. Love the color and the paint execution. Flawless!
mikemodeler Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Thanks guys. I sold it a few years ago and meant to build another one but I never got around to it. It's a Revell "Wheels of Fire" snap kit so there's no engine. Those snappers can end up looking pretty good as you have demonstrated, plus the time saved not building the chassis and engine!
Greg Pugh Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 That is one beautiful car! I love that color!! Nice wheels also.
Danno Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Nice build! Love the color ~ it looks great with the black stripes.
MarkJ Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Beautiful, This was my dream car back in the day but the closest I got to getting one was a 68 GTO.

deathskull59 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 pretty cool chevy so was that paint job done by can or air brush.
