Danno Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Excellent issue! Mine arrived last Thursday and I couldn't put it down until I finished reading all the articles and studying a couple of them. Another Three Wows! issue!! (That's graded on a scale of one to four, and no one ever gets a four.)
Chuck Most Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I'd say it pegs a solid 11 wows, but that's just me.
mikemodeler Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 well, if the post office hasn't changed, I will get the November issue sometime in January, the December issue ??????
crazyjim Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Issue 163 was received yesterday in pristine condition.
my66s55 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I was in my local Hobby Town yesterday, but it wasn't.
Guest Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Got mine Saturday, read it right on the spot. Minor damage to back cover.
jjsipes Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I always get mine about a month after you guys do and the covers are always ripped to pieces. Must be the mailman wanting to read something good?
Rob Hall Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Got mine a week or so back, arrived in fine shape.
Harry P. Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I always get mine about a month after you guys do and the covers are always ripped to pieces. Must be the mailman wanting to read something good? The back cover of mine was about 50% missing... and what was left of it was torn up and wrinkled.
Chuck Most Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 THIS is on the back cover. On the outside, anyway= http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/amt/images/amt_0690_title.jpg
Nick Notarangelo Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I can't complain mine showed up on christmas and the sad part was it was the best gift I got this year THANX GREGG AND HARRY.
jjsipes Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I lucked out this time I just got mine today. Looks great but I need to wait to read it tonight since I have work to do. Looks great though I did thumb through it. And its all one piece too. Thanks guys.
Gregg Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Thanks, guys. The issues are getting better and better every month. And, please people, can you keep the sarcasm on the delivery schedule down? I am doing the best I can, and this constant berating does not help. I understand your frustration, and I appreciate your patience.
Nick Notarangelo Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I have no need to complainsince I subscribe and dont have to do the hunt for it any more.
Gregg Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Also, the office is requesting that anyone who has received their copy of the magazine to contact them, and they will send a replacement, but they are also requesting that the damaged magazine be returned to the office. They are working on getting I guess you could call it evidence together for this problem. Thanks.
FASTBACK340 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 All the veteran mail-mauler's must be on vacation.... My issue arrived yesterday in perfect condition. A first.
Ryan S. Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Got mine yesterday also. I had some slight damage to the back cover, but not enough to be concerned about. If it gets worse I'll let the publisher know. Great issue btw.
BOSWELL891 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 My mom subscribed for me a week or two ago and she said it said 6 to 8 weeks but mines already here in perfect condition very fast shipment in my opinion
Jairus Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I've never received a damaged issue in my life so you can check Salem, Oregon off your list Gregg.
Dave Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I also cannot recall ever getting a damaged copy, believe me, I do far more damage to them than any postman ever could!
jbwelda Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 did your proofreader quit? just wondering...
jbwelda Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 really though, nice issue. i liked the article on the ferrari build, the resin stuff and i always enjoy that diecast roundup at the end. i just subscribed after 10 or more years of buying at the LHS (RIP) and my two issues so far have been in decent shape considering the PO' s general handling. good work as usual!
