Kanedge Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I have posted anything or built anything, this model was actually completed towards the end of last year. Following this build I had an extended break from building, and models in general, but I am back at it again. This is the Tamiya kit from a few years ago. Essentially box stock, but with mini tubs and Pegasus wheels, wired engine, solder exhausts and a tail pipe. The colour is airbrushed Testors Bright Aqua Pearl, with a 2K clear. It took a lot of polishing to get this paint job right, hence the reason I had a break. I now have a new airbrush which seems to have fixed all my airbrushing problems. Thanks for looking, any comments are appreciated.

Dr. Cranky Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Pure and simple, a beautiful model. Great job. Congrats.
robertw Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Your extra efforts on paint really paid off, that is a great looking model. The Ghia had a sharp looking body but it's too bad that the drivetrain underneath was pure underpowered Bug. rob
Brudda Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Super Job!!!! Nice build ,love the colors and the stance.
