These two '50s Triumph sportscars.......a '56 TR2 and a '57 TR3 are both built from vintage Gunze Sangyo plastic kits that include some

photo-etch parts such as wire wheels, dash cluster, steering wheel spokes, Triumph badges, and a rather strange PE 'fold-up and bend' sheet metal chassis.

The plastic bodies are simple (no opening features) but well molded and proportioned and I find these kits are quite satisfying visually.

I've used custom mixed basecoat/clearcoat paint, with Humbrol, Testors, and Tamiya used for small details.

I added foil to the rear fender 'spats' and also to the upper fender trim as used on a TR3.

Great to see two together here .. they look fantastic! I keep staring at the 2 TR3's I have for parts building a TR4A I owned, but I MUST be able to get a 3 out of what's left!

TRiffic job Clifford, nice to see some one else likes the old sidescreen TR's. Love the photo etched wires on the 3, must look out for a set for my 3A I have yet to build

Nice job, now if they would only do TR4-TR8? Love old British stuff.
