I did this build 25 years or so ago and recently pulled it out of storage and decided to repair and update it. Its now finished and the upgrade included new paint, taillights, new air cleaners and an updated license plate. The original 25 year old build has a brass frame, removable dipstick, working rear suspension and functional U joints.

I couldn't help myself on the personalized plate. :D

For a 25 year old model, that still looks amazing, and I have to tell you, very competitive too. Lots of great parts and the result is a cool looking model. Thanks for sharing it with us. Hope the next one doesn't have to take 25 years. LOL.

Thx guys. I built this so many years ago and it was finished. I entered into a local IPMS contest in 1984 and took Best of Show over planes, armour and other cars. I'm still amazed. I just decided to repair it after being stored and moved around for all these years. This is a 1/25th scale build.

With a Hemi it would sure be a handful, but blow it up to 1:1 and I'd be pleased to have it in my garage.

No way !

You'd find a way to get rust on it or cause it to weather or rot in some shape or form ! Lol !

Thanks for the comments guys. This would be a fun ride but I'd need a seat belt and a roll bar to burn some serious rubber.
