At the front is that round thing sticking up part of the trailer ? Almost looks like the car has a old style headlight mounted to it.

I believe it's a single seated, and yes it's a headlight.

Must have been driven on the street . Might have had a tail light on the drivers side not in picture. Why else would it have a head light or two ?

That is one cool Porsche!  But why post this in a thread which died in 2012 (yes over 8 years ago,) when we already have a very active thread about the same subject.
