This was a fun build. This was my 2nd Tamiya kit and I love how everything fit together flawlessly. Great detail on this kit too, I would recommend this kit to anyone.

That's a sweeeeeet build! Nice job!

The only omission I see is detail painting the fender & tail light housing body gaskets. Very tough to pull off cleanly, and I doubt I would have done it either, but it would have put this right up there with real or model territory.

I love it!

I also was wondering what sort of engine detail that kit has. Excellent job on that Volkswagen!

Stunning build, love the paint and the detail you've put into the build, I built one sometime ago, and the fit of the parts and the detail on this kit are brilliant, the next one will be done in Ruby red ....

I've been thinking about buying this kit for a long time and these are the first pics I've seen of one built OOB .

You did a great job , and convinced me to buy one . Thanks .

Very nice looking build!! I built this same model as a Christmas present for a sister-in-law in baby blue with a tan interior. Like you said it went together very well, one of my favorite builds. Unfortunately she is now an ex sister-in-law and I have never seen the model again!

Wow, this is nice, I have only built one a Mini. And it was a dream to build. You have done a nice clean build, good detailing. BRAVO!!

Nice stock build. My '64 was that color. I have this kit waiting to be built, Tamiya kits are usually trouble free and well detailed, even the curbsides. The only chincy thing I've seen them do is reuse the Beetle floorpan for the Karmann Ghia by adding material on the sides.
