Jon Cole Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 And I should be enlightened that I have a 50-50 chance of getting this right? How about we settle for an Auto ID on this instead? I can get that!
Jon Cole Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 50-50..... hmm, I will go with "real". NO! Wait! Umm.... Okay, "real".
Dr. Cranky Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I'm surprised I'm the only one who's voted MODEL on this one so far.
Coned Tony Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I say real. If it is a model, it's a ###### good one!!
gbdolfans Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 My wife says model so that got my vote!!! This one is really hard to tell,Harry is making us more nuts than we are already.
bandit1 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) Hey HARRY!...where is the "Neither" option? its a "PORTRAIT" of a 59' impala!! www.gmphotostore.com or was it... www.gmphotoshop.com Edited June 19, 2012 by bandit1
rmvw guy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 This is one of the best I've seen on here and a very nice photo. My guess is MODEL, and only because I can't see the key hole for the trunk, it might just be the angle.
mikemodeler Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I went with Real, the details look too good to be a model and the paint is awfully shiny.
martinfan5 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hey HARRY!...where is the "Neither" option? its a "PORTRAIT" of a 59' impala!! www.gmphotostore.com or was it... www.gmphotoshop.com I am going with this
Pete J. Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 If it is real it has been modified. No original had panel fit like this, or the seams on the bumpers.
CorvairJim Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Gotta love a "Batwing Chevy"! These cars have so much more character than the '59 and '60 Fords. Make mine a 348-powered Kingswood wagon, if you please. Ron, the keyhole is hiding behind the Chevy emblem of this very real 1959 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan. That license plate is the one that Chevy used on it's publicity shots of all it's cars in '59. Yes, Harry, she be REAL!
warra48 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Real. The paint and reflections, the panel fit etc all point me to that conclusion. However, I've been wrong before, but I'm sticking with it.
2whl Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 If that's a model, I want to know how they painted that rear emblem on the trunk lid
1zebra3 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 REAL! look at the bad body work on the rear drivers side fin. Its hard to replicate that in scale.
