TheCat Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Finally finished my latest build. I think it came out looking pretty good. Also tried a new thing on this one. I added Flocking to simulate rugs. It came out ok for my first time. I think with more practice I will do better. Here's the pictures of the finished product:
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 That polished showroom floor and backdrop really show off a good looking model. Nice photos too.

bsoder Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Beautiful!!...looks like it's ready for some lucky buyer B)
Harry P. Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I agree with the gang... very nicely done. The "carpet" looks pretty good, and the engine detail is first rate! You know what look really cool? Rear window slats in flat back. You could scratchbuild the slats out of sheet styrene or even a file (index) card.
Qwit Pushin Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Very nice!!! Love the restraint shown when choosing colors, subtle yet striking. Thanks fro sharing.

I thought of putting the slats on the rear, but the BOSS 302 did not come with them. It may of been an extra option that was available but they didn't come with them from factory. Only the MACH1 and BOSS 429 did. As you can see in the picture you posted, it's of a BOSS 429. But I am planning to build a 1969 BOSS 429 and a MACH1 as well in the future. So I will defently going to keep that in mind for those builds.
