mademan Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 looks great. now is that body cleared? or can it be cleared without turning "silver" I know ive tried to clear alclad chrome before and it just turns a foggy grey.

John Teresi Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 Hello.......thank you all for the kind comments......I painted a spare body Alclad to practice on the flames.......this was a 20 minute practice flame job.......I will take my time and try and do a good job on the build body......thanks for looking.

Pat......No, I did not clear coat the Alclad........Yes, you can`t handle the Alclad that much......when I masked the flames.......I attach the tape to the skin on my arm to eliminate some of the adhesive of the tape......but,enough adhesive to mask the flames.......thanks
