Colin Russell Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 I finished this recently,it's a repop of the Badman kit...I did it two tone and the interior was sectioned to drop it..I made a new chassis for it too.
espo Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 This came out very nice. I've never cared for this kit because the roof just looks wrong to me. You made it look good.
Sam Cates Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Love it, looks really nice with the exhaust cut out of the rockers. But isn't the Badman kit a '55? This is a '56.
Colin Russell Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 Thanks guys. Sam,it's my bad...I was thinking of a 55 that I did..
rmvw guy Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Nice paint, I like the colors and the one thing that stands out the most are the side pipes!!! Beautiful!
Kustom Rodder Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Looks really good liken what you did with the exhaust.
outlaw035 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 wow thats a very KQQL..56...really like the exhaust and the wheels look grt8 on it...sweet...
Bartster Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 l love it all! Stance, color, tire & wheel combo. Beautiful!
Jantrix Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Very slick. I would have liked to see a WIP thread on this. Especially the new chassis.
slusher Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) very nice work, nice touch on the exhaust. Edited July 23, 2012 by slusher
Bernard Kron Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Very nice modern approach to an evergreen classic. Great stance and rake and tastefully handled contemporary design cues (wheels/tires, big blower mill, etc.). I think that one measure of a highly successful model both in concept and execution is one which would serve as a prototype for a great 1:1 build. It's by no means the only defintion of fine modeling, but it's very much appropriate to this one. Congrats! Did you have to scratch a new chassis in order to get the body channel you needed to set the stance properly?
