Or maybe finding the Airfix/MPC/Craftmaster DB5 Bond car and the 2000GT roadster and coupe. Airfix doesn't seem to have them.

No rumors. Just hopeful wish.

Need '71 Mustang, goofy 3 wheeled buggies to go with couple funny chase scenes. Wint and Kidd Thunderbird too (maybe Landau though?)image.jpeg.a410a4aa578b38f1a50d220d161ce81b.jpeg

Yeah, Mike, that is a surprise to see the Galaxie Police Car with a Bond Tie-in. But, I'll be adding that one to the collection when it arrives. Too Cool a car, not to get one.

Most police cars were Custom or Custom 500 models not a Galaxie. The front grill must be trimmed to reflect a lower than Galaxie model. Custom 500s had wheel opening bright trim and bright roof drip mouldings, however.

This kit represents many company cars during the 1970s.

NYPD used Galaxie RMPs '69-'70. No wheel opening, drip rail or other bright trim except for the windshield and rear window mouldings.

This is a Custom model, no trim and smaller grille.

Actually, the grille is the same size. That misshapen "grille thing" that comes with the AMT Galaxie includes the front fender and hood moldings as part of the grille. No biggie I guess if you glue the hood shut, but it is completely wrong if you want an opening hood.

007, really ? I don't think "Jimmy B"  would be found dead in a Ford.

Look at "Diamonds are Forever". Bond drove a Red Mustang and the Police cars where Fords so this would be correct for Round2 to do.

I guess so. I don't think I ever saw that one.

It needs more than that.  The rear C pillar needs to be contoured a little rounder or softer too.  Of course, this flaw is a result of the kit being based on the slightly more upright and formal LTD promo body.

Yep.

Buy 2 of the '70 Galaxie kits and you can build this neat thing!  Which I've always wanted to do.  It's a 1970 Ford Galaxie stretch limo.  You can see it in the 1985 movie "The Falcon & The Snowman," where it's a vehicle assigned to the Russian Embassy in Mexico City.

This kit is is a curbside. It also is a hardtop not a sedan. On top of being an LTD not a Galaxie. It looks like this built aside from the rims.
