49 Merc

This is my 49 merc I just finished. Kinda dropped the ball on the work in progress and didn't keep up with the posting of progress. This build is completely box stock and the paint is testor's clear mixed with pearl ex. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

This is one of my favorite (of all time) kits too,LOL,I'm building another one currently myself (this was the kit that got me back into building back when first released),yours inspires me to get on it! Makes me wish I'd gotten out to the shop to work on it this morning insteada sleeping in,hahaha!

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I havent joined LIARS yet but I found them on Facebook. Just a matter of contacting them I guess. Joining a club is definitely something I would be interested in. Did you join when you lived on LI?

Yes Rich, I originally joined the LIARS Club back in 1992 and am still a member even though I don't live there anymore. I still keep in touch with the guys and occasionally write for the Club's monthly newsletter. You can contact the LIARS Club's "unofficial official", Rich Argus by email and he will be more than happy to give you all the info that you need about the Club. His email address is: R.Argus@Juno.com The monthly Club meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, at the Henrietta Acampora Senior Center on Montauk Hwy. in Blue Point.(Next to King Kullen)
