JasonFL Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 This is one beautiful Chevy fleetline, I mean beautiful. Not many people can pull off a brown root beer paint job but you really pulled it off with some class. Love the tail lights and some real nice detail to the interior, from the switches to the pipping around the seats. Very nice, well done.
Webb Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Just beautiful Steve! I always liked you're style. You're one of the "cleanest" builders I've ever seen! Chris
Dr. Cranky Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Another masterpiece, Steve. It's great to see it finished and have it in the model car world. Now recharge the batteries and let's see how you are going to outdo yourself this time. Cheers, DC
patami Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Its not fare to post pics of a real car and try convince us its a model. No seriously i just have to say as all the other its the most fantastic MODEL CAR iw EVER seen.

jbwelda Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 wow that is really something. just that paint job, that candy root beer looks super and deep! the body looks super and i love those tunneled tailights. i have followed your models when they got published in magazines and i must say i have always dug your eye for design and style. something i have aspired to but never really gotten anywhere, and you make it look easy. those knobs on the dash are something else too!
GerN Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Fantastic in every way: design, craftmanship and photos. I really enjoyed your build pix&trix on Facebook - great stuff, inspirational and educational.
Jantrix Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Jantrix, the "glass" is .007" PVC sheet or something like that. I found it at Hobby Lobby. Is there a brand name I can look for?
rmvw guy Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Awesome, I love the colors! I didn't say enough about this one the first time, besides being AWESOME it is gorgeously beautiful, perfectly killer, cool and flawless! I love the knobs on the dash and the interior detail, the stance, and the photos are excellant! There , now I feel better, NICE WORK!!!!!
thatz4u Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 He didn't shrink the kids....he shrank the car.....
sbk Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Is there a brand name I can look for? No brand name on the label, just this: K07CV0811-6 .007" CLEAR 8X11" $2.29 I did a search on that number & this is what came up. http://www.c2f.com/h...p?GRP-K07CV0811 There is a company called Midwest Products & they make the PVC sheets I used for the laminated dash knobs. They don't have clear in .007", but they have it in .010". That is a good one to use, too. I found that at a local hobby store that is more geared towards RC stuff.
RAMBENNA Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 wow, oh man this is excellent ,everything about it is perfect
B.DougBeck Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Fantastic! I love the color, the wire around the arm rest, the dash knobs. Great build.
Burnout Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Wow. That baby just oozes class. Very inspirational.
pepperdrumstix Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Ditto to everything said above. Glad you are back among the builders Steve. I wondered where and how you were doing and I can't wait to see what you build next. A BIG fan Patrick
