This is one of those cars that I rushed to finish and it turned out to be one of the best . I only had just enuf paint to cover it once (no second coat) lovely kit to biuld enjoy comments welcome

Thanks guys apart from around the windows there isnt a lot of BMF all the side trim is from the kit.

The hardest bit was doing the red over the roof trying not to get any bleed under the masking tape

I want to do another one when i find one just becuse i loved biulding it but i would do a lot more detail

Great job David. The '58 Chevy is one of my all time favorite cars, and this Revell kit really does it justice.... I love all the chrome side trim as separate pieces because this car is a bear to foil.

Gotta love those one model year Chevies!! That looks really great and yes, I'd rather foil this one than the '58 AMT one I did years ago! Much easier to do since the trim is a lot more defined. ;)

Thanks MrObsessive ive seen some of your work and for you to say it looks great is a real compliment .Do you have any pics of the convertible roof frame finished. Did it work ok sorry cant remember what the car was Thanks again.

Looks very good to me. Nice clean and sharp foil work. I can see the thinness of the paint if you look along the panel lines, but aside from that, a very nice job. I'd say it's a keeper! :D
