BigEd
Hey all. Finally finished The Dodge. I scratchbuilt the frame, suspension pieces, shocks, 2 1/2 ton Rockwells, Optima, orbital valve, oil reservoir, wheels faces for direct-fit to the axles, etc. Thanks for lookin'. The build pics are in The Dodge album. Edited October 4, 2012 by BigEd
jeffs396
INCREDIBLE!!! Love this beast Larry! Super accurate and detailed, the scratchbuilding, and what you've done with the SoReal IROKs to make them wider...just WOW!!!
von Zipper
OUTSTANDING !

TooOld
Excellent looking model ! The detailing and finish is some of the best I've seen !
David G.
Excellent build! The weathering on the tires is great. David G.
mikemodeler
That engine sure looks clean for a truck with no inner fenders! Very nice and well detailed. Sure wish there was a way to get this truck re-issued.
crazyjim
Very cool.
cobraman
Very nice ! Put a Dodge in your garage ! Well. that would not fit in my garage ( if real ). : )

Austin T
This is one of the most interesting truck models I think I have ever seen. The simplistic white with all the scratchbuilding and Wow,its just great.
BigEd
Thanks all for the compliments. It truly was a labor of love. I love what I do, no matter how long it takes...just ask jeffs396.
Harry P.
Kind of odd that the tires are caked with mud but there's not a speck of mud anywhere on the truck... not on the underside, not on the body...
Guest G Holding
Yeah Harry...they would get that way driving into the arena.....before the loud pedal was pushed. Only thing you need is a drop of silver paint on the radiator cap....then start that MUTHA!!
Danno
Nice job. But, I agree with Harry. Half a job of weathering looks more incomplete than no weathering.
Tony-442
Makes me want to start'er up and go muddin'... Wicked awesome job bro... Cheers!
BigEd
Thanks all for the compliments again. There are some items that I did overlook. I'm currently makin' inner fenders (imagine that engine bay after some muddin'), I missed the radiator cap...thanks Greg. And you're right...the tires were done pre-mud event. That's why they aren't loaded with mud...just like it was driven thru some. Harry & Danno-I appreciate the candor. Anthony & Roger (an old friend)-thank you for the comps.
