horsepower Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Just have to say that this one is a real car (I guess in reality they are all real, some are just scale, & the rest aren't) but this is a "full size" version in my eyes at least (such as they are at this declining age).
HOLMES55 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I think its a model.. The panel lines dont look very deep and there are no valve stems on the rims
RichCostello Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 hey Harry, when is riday? It isn't on my calendar I say Real!! Cmon Al,you know that riday is right between hursday and aturday!
CorvairJim Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Gotta love a vintage Ferrari! Model or 1:1, they're usually among the best-looking cars in the neighborhood... OK, not GENERALLY AMONG them! An early 60's 250 GT SWB is naturally no exception. I say this is the real deal, but I've been wrong before. I guess we'll find out on riday!
otherunicorn Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I'd like to see anyone get a camera this low down on a model!
dimaxion Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I without a doubt state this is real . Good job Harry, on this one . Thanx ..
horsepower Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I may have goofed with my "real" vote, it appears as the numeral dots on the doors are decals, (no panel line) but we will see, mayhaps, Harry has got a bunch of us on this one.
horsepower Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I'd like to see anyone get a camera this low down on a model! One word: Table
otherunicorn Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 One word: Table If the lens is taller than the model, even a table won't help.
