By Modelhaus, with a few mods made to the body and chassis to fit the wheels. Paint is House Of Kolor Sunset Pearl Orange. Aoshima wheels and Pegasus Hobbies brake discs and calipers.

Very cool Jeff! I love the color scheme and the wheels that you chose for this "long roof". It all goes together really well.

I can't recall ever seeing a real wagon like that, but it certainly is pretty!! Weren't those the days though? A time when life was a whole lot more simple, less stressful, cars had human engineered styling and grace and the music was better. I can almost hear Danny and The Juniors singing "At The Hop". or maybe Perry Como singing "Catch a falling Star" as mom drives to the supermarket for groceries with the kids playing in the back seat when I look at your photos. Wagons are really cool and I remember family vacations with my parents in our '59 Chevy Brookwood with my brother and I playing, sleeping or just watching the world go by from the rear cargo area. My folks would fold the back seat down and put a mattress in so us kids could enjoy the trip. And enjoy we did! But back to your Desoto. Nice build and the colours are sweet!!!! I may have to order me one of those.. :):):)
