My wife makes me a Box Art calendar every year. This is the 2024 edition.

She knows my tastes pretty well :)

She sent digital images to Wal-Mart, and they printed/bound the calendar.

Nice selection there. All well-engineered kits of interesting/significant cars.

At some point I'm going to attempt putting a spare Celsior V8 into the Soarer. Can only dream of doing it at 1:1, but it's vaguely feasible in styrene....

I found this kit on ebay. It was listed as no box and seller didn't know what version of the trucks they were, but they were sealed in bags . As it turns out the box was original, just missing the artwork, and the kits were packaged together by a now defunct railroad hobby supplier. I printed an image found online and affixed it to the box. Now it at least looks original. ;)

Yep. I still have one of the double kits, and a separately boxed stake truck kit.  They were relatively cheap, and I loves the white plastic that they were molded it.

This arrived today. Want to make a plain Galaxie. And it’s white plastic and not blue or yellow. ?

Had got around to rewatching the Batman trilogy in 4K, and in the 2nd movie with the tumbler reminded me of moebius. I had forgot they produced these kits, as I own the new Batman car they had put out. So found these with a good deal on eBay.

After finding out about R&D Unique I went snooping and found these items for cheap. Most of the stuff listed on eBay is very high. These were all very inexpensive for some reason. Restores your faith in humanity. I'm pretty stoked about the air compressor mainly. :)
