Seems to me there was some issue with the kit. Does anyone recall what it was? The only problem I recall people talking about on here is the Ollie's kits had no chrome plating. I just checked my Ollie's kit date and it is 2007 on the Canary version. I have not opened it.

Looks like the previous owner used silver paint. 1

NOBLNG Posted Saturday at 06:47 PM Posted Saturday at 06:47 PM (edited) Picked up this little gem at a local flea market for a mere five bucks. This thing does real justice to the term “gluebomb”!😬 I think the builder stood back a foot or so and gave that ol’ Testors tube a good squeeze!😳 I hope to start a build thread shortly.🙄 Edited Monday at 01:08 PM by NOBLNG 5

WillyBilly Posted Sunday at 06:32 PM Posted Sunday at 06:32 PM Three from a local flea market. The engine on the mustang was started, but other than that all intact. The 59 Impala was part of a series. I have the other two. One being a 59 pink Cadillac convertible, and the other is a 1955 chevy convertible. I think the Rolls is going to be a full blown LSX powered, big wheel sled as there is not much in the way of detail on it. 6
meechum68 Posted Sunday at 10:26 PM Posted Sunday at 10:26 PM I just remembered I picked up some new brushes from Joann's before they were sold out, and some new tweezers this last week. 2
johnyrotten Posted Sunday at 11:16 PM Posted Sunday at 11:16 PM Not exactly model related, got a new chair for the workbench. Should be an improvement for long building sessions. 3

Nah..that's model related... comfy chair makes building so much better, I need to get one for my office, the kitchen chair I am using is ok, but I really need a comfortable one.

A modeler named mike Posted Monday at 02:09 AM Posted Monday at 02:09 AM This score was from an ebay auction that arrived a couple days ago. I was able to get it for a decent price, probably since it had some thick paint on its roof and hood. Nothing that can't be removed. It is complete but some of the decal sheet had been cut into and applied to the hood. 5

MERIVA Posted Monday at 02:41 PM Posted Monday at 02:41 PM 2 of these on South African Facebook marketplace. One started, engine & chassis assembled, not painted. Second one unopened. Unopened kit was R510.00 ($29.00) Started kit was free, the lady's father used to buy a kit every year to take with on their Christmas vacation. He passed away & she was clearing out his workroom. All she asked is that I send her a pic of the completed kit. 5
