Austin T Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 1/12 1937 Cord for $30 plus $13 shipping -- a fraction of the usual price. Thats a cool kit. I found one at a flea market for 15 bucks, brand new. I'm pretty sure I used all of my luck that day.
Furiousgeorge Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Picked up two boxes of built and junk models, as well as a model magazine from 1963 (forget the name at the moment) from a flea market. I've began searching through the boxes, and have come across a 61 Olds wagon, Dodge Warlock, and a 77 roadrunner that are usable. Also most of (if not all) a large scale Lambo Countach. Can't find a manufacturer on it, it it has wiring for all the lights. Looks buildable. Good haul I think, not done going through it yet either!
deja-view Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) 1/12 1937 Cord for $30 plus $13 shipping -- a fraction of the usual price. Skip; That's a great kit. I have a couple of those left over from my full custom project about 15 years ago. I started another with something pretty exotic in mind, got sidelined, and never got back to it. So, if you ever need to replace a part let me know. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Edited August 26, 2013 by deja-view
ChrisBcritter Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Turn signal and taillight paint, plus a real deal - a photoetch sheet with hundreds of 0.8mm "screw heads" (they aren't slotted) for $1.97 - a lifetime supply of door and trunk locks and dash knobs. Thus ends the last day of Adventure Hobbies.

Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fo I like this one a whole lot. Neat color scheme and overall theme. When I win the lottery I'd like to recreate this one in 1:1 just to see a few antique car collectors keel over!
