om617 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Another stunner Steve, love the color combinations, detail and finish. After i look at yours i realize mine is missing some details, portholes in fenders, the emblem at the front fender.I was hoping to do this in pure white with wire wheels and maby light blue and white interior.

I hadn't noticed the missing badging Tommy, but it will still make an amazing model!I love white cars! One of my favorite colors! With the wire wheels, some wide whites & a little color on the inside, it will be beautiful I'm sure!
Mr Stock Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Finally was able to get the 60 Buick hardtop from a feebay auction. I was watching this and a 59 Edsel, and i watched the price on the Edsel just grow and grow, but nothing happend on this so i just threw in a bid, like i could for once be lucky and get it,and i actually did. Pretty happy about it. Thats ironic, I almost nearly put a bid on this one, but i checked the bank balance first............and that was that !!

Pretty happy about it. I almost put a bid on that car. I have the convertible and and the 60 Buick is one I wouldn't mind having as a hardtop as well . I know a guy who used to have one and that car just looked neat . But they were others listed I wanted more , so I backed off of it ( lucky you I guess ) . I did win the other 3 that I was after though ( it was an expensive weekend )
PatW Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I got a Revell Road Agent but it's only .15kb and won't load on here as it says that it's over .44kb
lordairgtar Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I was on one of my meandering drives (southeastern Wisconsin and just over the border into Illinois) when I spied a little hobby shop I've not seen before. Lots of crafty stuff and model trains, but they had a small model car selection too. Wound up getting a Revell 57 Ford wagon for $20. Later I picked up a 27 Ford T truck kit with the candy bar decals at another place.

SteveHe's been trying to sell that box and parts for a while now,,,,,,,. I've seen buildups with the box sell for about what he wants just for the scraps IMO, its one of the harder Johan kits to find. Although I think the Johan 1970 Roadrunner is harder to find and usually brings more money. I had an unbuilt maybe 10 years ago and like a fool sold it . I've been looking for a decent builder for the past year or two,,,,, and have been unable to get one in my budget
