Dr. Cranky Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Feel free to share all the 1:1 pictures of vehicles you find out there and which we might all get inspired by . . . here are some that are making EYEGORE salivate. Enjoy:
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Love that slammed ice-green one. Now that is an automobile, yessir.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 I know, I keep drooling over it, it'd be great to slam one of these beauties in scale. Oh yes.
'70 Grande Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I wonder what the story is behind that Baja/off-road version!
Ju Ju Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I wonder what the story is behind that Baja/off-road version! well, first of all it's a 1958 ford it ran in the 1980 mexicali 250 race
Dr. Cranky Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012 But the idea can be adapted to the 57, it's still an exciting idea for a build.
charlie8575 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I'm looking at the white/gray one and I can see the two-toning plan....what a pain to mask! Still looks good. I might actually use that color scheme for my car. Charlie Larkin
Draggon Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 First up my all time favorite 57 Ford. I'll buy the kit just to do this one! How about an AWB? Yea, I know it's a 56. This is just plain BAD! And the Gunfighter is always a favorite!
Draggon Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) The H.A.M.B. has got 33 pages of inspiration! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=487387 Edited November 24, 2012 by Draggon
Chuck Most Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 This is a '59, but one of mine will end up in a state similar to this one... minus the lame-o Small Block Chevy. Good thing I took TONS of reference shots of this one.
blunc Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) My first car was a 57 Town Victoria 4dr in factory black enamel that was saved from a wrecking yard. It had a big 6 in it that went from Az to Idaho and back with a rod knock. The rod knock ended one morning when the rod exited the block right behind the drivers motor mount, I pulled over and turned off the motor so I could find out what I saw bouncing down the road behind me. A 312 replaced the dead 6. :)/> Edited November 28, 2012 by blunc
gray07 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I just posted a yellow one on facebook, a gasser 57
