bobthehobbyguy
Very nice work. Thanks for sharing all the process for building this.
Scale-Master
Here’s the finished coil. It’s easier to build with the coil wire boot on it now and I’ll just add the wiring after it is installed into the car. The boot is resin, cast off an aluminum master. Scale-Master
The distributor is done. Same as with the coil, the plug wire boots are easier to deal with by attaching them now instead of to the wires. The boots are also cast in resin from the same master. I added the serial number/data plate and drilled the base for the control wiring.
Scale-Master
This is the ignition box. Matches the coil… And this is the mounting plate with shock absorbing rubber grommets (on both sides). The coil bracket is already installed.

MonoPed
Having had a Fireball system in a Fox body Mustang, it looks perfect. You nailed it!
Foxer
This is NOT just "Another Super 7" I've been following all along and WoW!
Scale-Master
Thanks guys. I have done Mallory, Accel and MSD boxes before, so I wanted something different. Ready to be installed into the car; well, when the car is ready for it…

Scale-Master
Not scanned, I drew and printed the decals. And thanks!
Scale-Master
Battery box. Beginning of the battery
cobraman
I swear they look like real 1:1 parts.
Scale-Master
Thanks Ray, that's kind of what I'm going for. This is the battery, an Odyssey PC680. I milled the top from resin stock and built the bottom from sheet styrene. The terminals are brass and vinyl. I drew and printed the decals as well. This is the battery box/hold down. All brass, except the aluminum hardware. This assembly is made up of 50 pieces.
vintagedragfan
hi Mark, been awhile, but I have been following along on this build checking on it from time to time, gotta say, this is truly amazing stuff you are doing, although it is a dream to get a master award, kind of a waste to drag my junk to the next GSL with this sitting on the table! LOL
Scale-Master
Thanks Bill, coming from you that is quite a compliment. The alternator is pretty much done. I’ll add a couple more pieces of mounting hardware and wiring after it is installed on the engine. Since it sits down low, like the starter, I dirtied it up a little. It is made up of more than 30 pieces, mostly aluminum, but also milled resin, steel, brass and styrene.
cobraman
Any idea what your piece count will be when this beauty is finished ?
ScrappyJ
OUTSTANDING work, Mark!!! Your builds are ALWAYS impressive!

lanesteele240
Please share your source for the decals you put on each part. Or how you go about making them. Do you take pics of the object and edit it or is there a place i can go that has this stuff ready to print
Scale-Master
I'm well past 1000 parts, I have no clue what the total parts count will be.As for the decals, I draw everything I print, I am "the source". (Look up Scale-Master Decals...)No "scan and edit", it is all vector art. I don't know if there is a place you can go to that has something ready to print; I do know that I don't offer such an option.
mcandela
Wow, did You order these from the Summit catalog?? Get any good prices?? Looks too real, this is great.
Scale-Master
Actually, they are from Jeg's. I keep old catalogs from the speed suppliers for period correct reference of sometimes obscure parts.
Scale-Master
Finished transmission. I know it is well into the hundreds for the parts count on this sub-assembly, but I have no actual number. Mostly styrene construction with several brass and aluminum pieces.
Foxer
geeze .... you SURE this isn't a 1:1 you're building??
