I really like that kit and it looks like you did a nice job. Is the color silver or gray? Either way it fits well with tje red interior.

its krylon smoke grey. i originally painted it wimbleton white but dropped it down the stairs.. and after contemplating putting it in the microwave or throwing it into the woods i decided id try and save it.. so it soaked in a bath of brake fluid for about 3 hours and remarkably came out looking better than new

dont have alot of paints to choose from here

Looks nice Sean, you got 'macro' on your camera? The pictures will look better using that feature ;)

i really like the trunk section, looks good

do you still have the trunklid aswell or did you pitch that?

Very nicely done Sean . It looks good in that color and the redline tires on Rallye wheels are perfect ! Congrats on a nice save after your accident , we've all been there .

Very nice work, Sean. I'm glad you decided to redo it instead of trashing it. I think the new color is a better choice anyway (and one that I may have to chase down for myself).

I've done the same "metal springs" trick while building the AMT '67 Impala, but was concerned they wouldn't be able to hold up under the weight of the car without some other kind of support, so it never got completed. Looks like yours is doing fine so far.

Sean...try taking the photo with your camera further back. Then crop the picture with whatever you use for editing photos... Irfanview is a free easy to use photo editor if you need one...I've been using it for many years. www.irfanview.com to get it for free.
