Psychographic Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Other than a decal for the rear plate, she's done. Edited December 31, 2012 by Psychographic
modelmike Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Thats what I call one real beach wagon..... "BRA"
JunkPile Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the great pictures. There is alot of model to look at. The more I look, the more I like. Good job with the many details. Is there many aftermarket parts on it or are they mostly modified kit parts and scratchbuilt ones? Edited December 31, 2012 by JunkPile
JM485 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Awesome build! That is definately a unique custom, I like it a lot.
MachinistMark Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 That. Is. Awesome. And I typically *hate* Woody's Someone needs to build this in 1:1. Perfect proportions, perfect interior. Engine has the perfect amount of screwball factor, perfect stance... it's perfect!
TooOld Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 That is really cool !! Lots of detailing everywhere especially underneath . And it looks great all opened up ! Nice job .
Erik Smith Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Lots of work and well worth it. Very cool model. Edited December 31, 2012 by Erik Smith
Lunajammer Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Stunning amount of work but the results paid off. Way to persevere.
Geno Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Wow, that is just so cool. It looks right in every way.
JustBill Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Simply beautiful! Great job. I followed along with the build and have enjoyed the whole process as well.
W-409 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 This turned out fantastic. After that little shortening-operation, it sure looks like Morris Delivery or something, which is not a bad thing. And the amount of scratchbuilt parts on this one, is absolutely incredible, I also like to see when all doors, tailgate, hood etc are opening like that. And they can be closed cleanly, too. You did amazing job with this one.
Bartster Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 It was literally a pleasure watching you build this ! I started my '41 Plymouth about 2-3 days before this & eventually stopped to get tips & ideas from you. This is SO over the edge, off the chain, sick, or whatever the latest lingo is ! This may be my favorite model l've ever seen ! Maybe you have to be a woodie fan to say that, but you have set the bar high for all us woodie lovers. Thank you VERY much for sharing ! Bart
vintagedragfan Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 this turned out great David, very nice work
Psychographic Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 Thank you all for the compliments. Thanks for the great pictures. There is alot of model to look at. The more I look, the more I like. Good job with the many details. Is there many aftermarket parts on it or are they mostly modified kit parts and scratchbuilt ones? I think the only aftermarket piece on this is the steering wheel, the rest is either from other kits or scratchbuilt. Here's the link to the build. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64504&hl=
