krazyglu Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 You did a really nice job on the paint work. The wheel's/stance look's perfect.
Ron35369 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Gorgeous build!! The blue looks like "Grabber Blue" to me. That is just a SMOOOOTH looking body!
cherokeered Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Very Nice....where did you get the wheels and hood scoop from?
Custom Mike Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I don;t know about the hood, but the wheels are definitely Aoshima. Beautiful paint, clean build, and great stance, I'd love to have a real one like this!
Modlbldr Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Wow! Beautiful. I was quite surprised when the page opened up. Very nice job. I guess I'll need to keep mine now and rethink my plans on it. Later-
3men2s Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 the wheels like Mike said are Aoshima and I got them from model express. The hood is scratch built. Is is simple, draw the triangle in the area you want, then with a nice size drill bit punch the three corners that gives it the round edges in the corners, cut the rest, sand smooth the lines and glue a piece of styrene behind the hood and paint.

Matt T. Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) Nice truck, man. Great job! Do you remember the size and name of the Aoshima wheels? I need a set of those! Edited January 18, 2013 by Matt T.
Chris guthro Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 nice use of a 460 in something you never see in this gen ford
Sixties Sam Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 That is just about the best looking pickup model I've seen! Really great finish - great color and graphics. The scoop is a nice detail too. Good work! Sam
srt-4 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Very nice work sir! I have a expedition, lightning kit bash on the drawing table myself. I may have to hunt down some of those wheels for it!
3men2s Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 For the wheels, Model Express has them, and thanks for the cool coments
