Built for a club challenge over the past 4 weeks…

AMT’s “BOSS NOVA”…the wheels and tires are from a die cast dragster, injection manifold and valve covers from Speed City Resin, prewired magneto from Pro Tech, and the paint is from both Tamiya and Testers topped with Tester’s Wet Look clear.

Narrowed the rear, changed the front axle to a “dropped” unit from the stash, and molded in the hood.

Thanks in advance for takin’ time to look

Cool Nova build! I like the decals a lot, are they from Model King's Austin Gasser kit? Nice paint job and detailing, too. Really like the Rake on it also.

Pete, that's totally wicked! What a cool paint job! And the stance is perfect too! Looks like a lot of work went into that puppy...I'm with Niko....the decals alone are worth that Model King Austin kit. Beautiful build sir.

Thanks for the feedback....Most of the decals are from the Austin Gasser, the flames are from Revell's 67 SS 396 Chevelle (cut up and "reassembled"), and the rest are from Slixx.

The light purple is Tamiya TS 24 with a pearl clear, and the dark purple is Testers one coat laquer "Purple Licious" all covered with Wet Look clear.

Aloha...Pete

Totally cool re-do/update of this kit with an eye to all the right changes to achieve your vision. Really well executed too! Shows what happens when you know what you want and have the skills and knowledge to get there. :)B)
