Tukkerdax Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) Hello all, I like to show you my recent build of a AMT chevy '55 Nomad. After i finished it , i decided to make a diorama for it. The inspirition was an abandoned shell gasstation at Peach Springs Arizona. I have some pictures from the earlier years. If some of you ( from AZ ? ) has some privat older foto's of this station, please let me know, i'm very interested in those pictures. I hope you like it.... The inspiration Edited March 2, 2013 by Tukkerdax
rmvw guy Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I thought the Chevy was awesome then I saw the station, wow! I have no other words left to describe but, some more awesome. They look like they were left there to weather about the same time. Love it, nice job.
Tom Geiger Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) Very nice work, love the garage! Only because you are in Europe, I will mention that the '55 Chevy Nomad is a very rare and desirable car here in the US and wouldn't last long sitting there like that! It wouldn't go to waste! Sixties Sam Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Great job on the Nomad and the station, Eric! They look very realistic! The dent in the Nomad door is a nice touch. Your weathering and rusting techniques are perfect! Sam
W-Machine Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 You did some really fine work there, something to be truly proud of.

guybrush Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 hello eric your dio looks not bad... but i think the tires are a little bit to shine and the tread to new also the chrome parts needs less rust and dirt but all in all a nice build regards maik
