Guys, most of you know my lil bro Chris by the name Gluhead here. He's in the hospital after having a heart attack earlier today. They put three stents in an artery and he's still got one that needs attention but they'll do that after he's recovered from this. He's in good spirits and will need to make some serious life changes but I'm sure we'll see him back on here soon. Thoughts and prayers for him would be appreciated by us all.

Thanks!

Jim

Jim, thanks for letting us know...

Please tell Chris we're thinking about him (hopefully he can have a laptop soon in the hospital and "visit" with us himself :))

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery Chris! You've got ALOT of cool builds that need finishing B)

For a relaxing, easy sit in one spot with plastic pieces, this has to be one of the most dangerous, unhealthy hobbies ever!

I know that heart disease is more a lifestyle thing than related to the hobby in any way, i'm just trying to keep the mood light.

Gluehead- You're one of the goodguys and I want you to know we're all pulling for you. You'll be fine but, as everyone told me after my operation follow the doctor's advice. They aren't in the habit of steering folks wrong. Come back to us nice and healthy and ready to build some more models.

Heart disease runs in my family and I have seen first hand people , friends an a co worker with this dreaded situation. I've been in the hospital myself, not for heart problems , but I can attest, they're a PAIN IN DA A-- !!!!!! In addition , the physical therapy that will be required after one is released . Glu head , let me know via a P- M if there is something I can do from here .

Here's to a smooth, easy recovery and a normal life as soon as possible for you, Gluehead. Listen to your doctors- they're the pros.
