charlie8575 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Luis, I'm very impressed. That flame work is awesome, and the rest of this is coming up beatifully. You've also convinced me to pick a bottle or two of Vallejo up. Keep it comin'! Charlie Larkin
Foxer Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 The flame job came out great and the interior catches the eye too!

frozono Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 The paintjob looked relly good but i like the "rat" Paint more. Thanks, I start working with the body and noticed that the paint was lifted in an area. I tried to fix it but it peel like a banana.I think the Super Clean went under the paint. So I put the the body in the strip bowl. I will post the new paint job....... I'm doing some research on the Internet for some ideas.
Sixties Sam Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Luis, it looks like you used the same flame mask I used on my 49 Merc a couple years ago. Here's a pic. I went the easy way with just white. Yours must have taken more work, and they look great!
Jantrix Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Man, it's your model, if it speaks to ya, keep it as is.

Skip Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Looks like you've put a whole lot of work into the interior and chassis that's looks like "fresh" Custom; sort of doesn't fit with the rat look. Iconic model years like the '32 Ford and Merc's (in my opinion) don't look plausible as a rat rod, most people who get one know their worth and heritage within the Rod & Custom community. It's your model so do it the way you like best.
lordairgtar Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Been watching this car and its evolving look. I kinda like the distressed look of the car. Makes me want to pull the Merc kit out of the storage.
frozono Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Hi every one, i was away for some time.......... dealing with some things........... I was a little frustrated with this project......... I paint and strip this body 7 times..... my son told me "don't give up...... i know you can do it" and smile at me........ so I restart the painting process and this is the final product.......... flat black....... I used the front signal lights for the stop lights........... I will post more pics..........
