Drake69 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 anybody get hurt in that wreck? Just the car. Look how puffy and swollen it is. Just curious. Roughly HOW MUCH putty would it take to build a scale model of that car? After what I'm guessing is 20gal. of Bondo, I'd say AT LEAST a few tubs of Apoxie Sculpt.
gwolf Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Hey don't diss us Cavalier guys. At least most of us know our car would look stupid with a chop top. Just playin'. I had to say something on that one cause I got one. I would LOVE to find a 1/25 kit of a 1988 or 89 Cavalier or Cavalier Z24. Always liked them and the Pontiac Sunbird...
knarf Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Huh. So this is what 20 GALLONS OF BONDO looks like. Guess Autozone must have had a sale or something. Skull being used as an exhaust tip is actually pretty cool, the rest of the car should be hailed as a monument to how NOT to "pimp your ride". So tragic, even the great poet Homer wouldn't write about it. oh good...i'm not the only one with something good to say about it. i like the exhaust tip too. as for the rest...too each their own but i don't wanna look at it again
Joe Handley Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I wonder if they lowered that beast or if all the bondo just weighed it down to that altitude
Drake69 Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 With all that bondo, I'm wondering how well it FLOATS. I wish the owner would test it out.
Blackwolf Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Nice design but I would had gone with a brighter color to me the way it looks like it came from a trash and burn Sorry

mr moto Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Ahh, the perfect finishing touch . . . seatbelts slammed in the door!
wgflatliner Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 This is like Gumby's car. except Gumby is embarrassed by this car.
Kaleb Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Just as bad as people wearing tap out shirts, they have no idea what it means. This isn't custom anything, its puke. Van Gogh can do something better.
JamesW Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) What REALLY peaks my curiosity........................................... How much crack did he actually have to smoke before he came up with this idea? Edited May 3, 2013 by JamesW
Skydime Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) What REALLY peaks my curiosity........................................... How much crack did he actually have to smoke before he came up with this idea? For some reason, that conjures images of the old Tootsie Pop commercial where the owl finds out how many licks it takes to get to the center. 1, 2, 3...... Then just like the kid looking all shocked and confused, here we all are on this thread. Edited May 3, 2013 by Skydime
Kaleb Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I had a brain fart, hope it don't get any worse than that. Turn it into a zombie apocalypse ride, zombies will surely see who rides that thing has no brains and will go the other way.
Greg Myers Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 This ain't nothin' new fly. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2013/05/03/super-fly-cars-to-appear-in-aaca-museum-pop-culture-exhibit/?refer=news
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 ...Yeah, but though the Caddything is lacking in TASTE totally, there IS actually some evidence of SKILL. All the horrible stuff on it looks like it fits together pretty well....and it IS shiny (which took a lot more effort and ability than the gray spraybomb primer job). The gray turd, on the other hand, is just pathetic all the way around. Kaleb got it right : "This isn't custom anything, it's puke."
Greg Myers Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) Then I saw this and thought, WOW! people can build with taste. Oooops, today's version, is that a suitcase on the front end ? Edited May 3, 2013 by Greg Myers

Jon Cole Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Oooops, today's version, is that a suitcase on the front end ? Der Volvo! Holy Hootin' Flookin' Blootin'!
Maindrian Pace Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Corvorado - actually based on a '70s Corvette. The conversion did nothing for the handling. -MJS
sjordan2 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 What REALLY peaks my curiosity........................................... How much crack did he actually have to smoke before he came up with this idea? What REALLY piques my curiosity is why a thread about this piece of junk has gone on so long.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Taking a peek and a poke at the peak of the customizer's art must pique the interest of a lot of folks.
martinfan5 Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 What REALLY piques my curiosity is why a thread about this piece of junk has gone on so long. Just to make you ask why it has gone on for so long
Danno Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 and to all the haters of monster i drink it everyday along with rockstar, amp and shockwave . Not a "hater" . . . But the only positive thing I can say about your statement is . . . at least you're giving your embalmer a head start!
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 When did a dissenting opinion become "hating", anyway ?? I musta been away that day.
