Porscheman Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 This AMT 300 was built box stock, but I wanted it in another color than red, black or white. So I chose Testors brown met. lacquer and a saddle interior. What do ya think?Al
W-Machine Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 A very classy and understated color choice. I like it, Al.
Dominik Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 One of my favorite kits - you built it very nice. Like it!
mr moto Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 That's a great looking build! The color is excellent for that car. It's a shame Chrysler didn't offer it in a few more colors.
sjordan2 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 1. Superb work, beautiful color choice and skillful finish. 2. I saw in the "Big C" thread in Off Topic that you had a stroke in July and lost 60% of the use of your left side. Did you build this before or after the stroke? Either way, it's wonderful.

I'm going start a physical therapy class with building model cars. Anyone can join for free, you just have come to North Jersey.Al
geetee66 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 A very crisp build! Nice foil work and super smooth paint. Normally, I'd say no to a brown car, but this has real class. The grain of the paint looks in-scale, too. Glad to hear you are still building.
charlie8575 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Not too far off from the Copper Brown, which was a color available. Good luck with your P.T., Al. It's a hard road to travel, but I know you can do it. Nice job on that one. Charlie Larkin
