Hi gang. I'm visiting my buddy, Tom Valenta, at his home in Hendersonville, NC. I've been here since the day after the NNL East show. It has been raining like hell here for a week, with another week of rainy days to come in the forecast.

I picked up some cool stuff at the NNL as usual. I'll be continuing my "1958 build mission" with a '58 Oldsmobile convertible kit that I picked up from The Modelhaus. If it is possible to get in a dry day here I'll be able to prime it and maybe even paint it. It will eventually be painted Tamiya Pink, with a pink, black and white interior. The kit comes with a full continental kit so I'm thinking that another mild custom might be coming down the pike. Only a couple of '58's left to go after this one.

I think that once the Olds is done I'll be jumping back a couple of years and working on some 56's. I also picked up a '56 Plymouth and a '56 DeSoto promo at the NNL. I'll have to get some resin replacement stuff from Modelhaus for them. I also have a '56 Olds and Pontiac promo, along with kits of the '56 Chevy, the Nomad, Ford Fairlane, and Chrysler, so it looks like I'll be busy with the '56 builds for the rest of the year.

Well, I hope that the weather is better wherever YOU are and that you all get some good modeling done.

It's been dry for most of a week, the yard was FINALLY drying out, and the rain returned today. Rain is in the forecast every day for the next week. We actually had some snow furies a week and a half ago.

Beautiful!

I was working though....................but at least it was for extra hours, just sucked looking out the windows and seeing how nice it was the whole day.

For once Rich, the weather here is better than where you're visiting! It hasn't rained in about 5-6 days (I lost count, how often does THAT happen in the western PA/NE Ohio area? ) and they aren't predicting any for several more days!!!

More than likely though, once you get back it'll rain :(

Just a nasty cold wet dreary weekend . It was decent saturday, but yesterday and today highs in the low 60's , a breezey and rainy past couple of days ==== just plain blah

Sunny and 61 right now going to 75. Just some gorgeous weather that last few days and very, very low humidity - and I have nothing close to being ready to paint.

Kansas City area has been mostly rain off and on. Then last week, Monday and Tuesday it was in the 70's and I'm pulling and spraying those pretty yellow flowers. Tuesday night into Wednesday rain turning to snow. Only in Kansas can you mow your yard and pull dandelions one day and scrape ice off your windshield the next.

High 70s, clear blue skies and low humidity the past few days....too nice to build models, I've been out in the Manx :)

Depending on what day it is. No exaggeration it's the high of 75 with a chance of frostbite, expected snow with a warming trend. Lol

That's what it was like here last week.

Yesterday in seattle was 85 and sunny. Today is 50 and cloudy. Oh well. Pacific northwest weather, if you dont like it wait 5 minutes it'll change.
