posted this in the 'big boys' section, but never really finished it till recently

it's the original 3in1 kit from 1986 i bought (salvaged) as a glue bomb..

it cam e with a cracked body, missing parts, faded chrome...and lots and lots of household glue in ALL the wrong places

took lots of hours to (re)build..and detail and plumb in brake and fuellines..

i'm guessing it came out Ok ,,,

the paint is automotive Standox,,i never used BMF so all the chrome is Alclad..

a shot of the interior...with flocking for carpet etc etc...

and for keeping it free from dust and pets..i got a huge displaycase for it

in which it will remain for the rest of it's life

i sure had fun ,looking online for reference and all

i hope you like it ,it's my first attempt at a big scale..

thanks for the positive comments all

overhere it's a hard kit to get at..it doesn't show up often..and finished now people think its a Diecast..

i still have one left which i bought some time ago, it's the version that only builds a stock '57

(blue car in the box art, no 7489)

i'm thinking about doing that in red with the Cragar wheels on it ..we'll see.

and sjordan2 it's not an aquarium..it's a 1/12 Diecast displaycase from a company called Premium Classixxs

it costs more than the kit to start with..but hey?..

thanks All!

GREAT piece of modelling excellence Henry. B) B)

And I love the display box, a model looking that good deserves to be displayed and protected accordingly, nice work mate. :)
