Hawk312 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Pretty much a straight OOB build, except for the flocking, dry transfer letters, fuel lines and park plug wires. This was a relatively quick build (for me anyway) inspired by a real one I saw at Ocean City cruise nights this past fall. I like the brown with the white. Let me know what you think!
PappyD340 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 That's a SWEET looking cobra, awesome paint job nice and slick, great job David!!
slusher Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Excellent looking model. Love the brown and white..

JordanFordF1 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 It looks a lot better than is sounds. I like the brown.
cobraman Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I must admit that I was prepared to not like it but it looks great in that color. Nice build !
TooOld Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Very very nice job ! And the colors are beautiful ! We built a couple of replicas in similar colors and everyone loved them .
Harry P. Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 As usual from you, a superb job in every way. (except the missing "wind wing")...
Hawk312 Posted July 13, 2013 Author Posted July 13, 2013 Thanks again everyone! As usual from you, a superb job in every way. (except the missing "wind wing")... He took it off for racing.
W-409 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 That is really nice Cobra, I like seeing these and I'm building one of these myself too, great inspiration here. The brown fits very well on that body, actually much better than I thought before seeing the pictures. And your paint work is always impressive, it's smooth as glass and of course shiny too. Nice details and great overall look. Fine build.
lanesteele240 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Nice paint. Any more close ups of the engine/ chasis.
sjordan2 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Looks superb. What brand and shade of brown did you use?
Sixties Sam Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Great build, very clean! The brown looks good on the Cobra. Nice work! Sam
RatRod Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I always love your work David, this is another stellar build!!!
