JasonC Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 68-70 first, 66-67 second, 84-87 third, all others last...
Jeff Johnston Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Easy. Dukes of Hazard. I grew up in the 70s. Charger always meant 68-70 to me.
Deathgoblin Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 This one! My family had one almost exactly like it.
philo426 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 To me it will always be the '68-70 Chargers!Like this 1/18th Ertl diecast.
Danno Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 First: My 1974 Charger, this color, with American Racing Wire Mags. Beautiful car, great to drive. (Not my car, not my plate.) Second: While a DJ at KEYN, we had a '67 Dodge Charger "mobile unit," white with red & blue stripes and lots of graphics. We drove all over Wichita and SE Kansas, giving away Walter's Beer and promo items, concert tickets, albums, etc. It was a blast! The car had "Mobile Unit 3" painted on one side and "Mobile Unit 4" painted on the other. People always swore up and down we had four matching Chargers, although there was only one! With four hundred bazillion quadrillion images on the world wide web, you'd think even one pic of the KEYN Party Charger would have shown up. Fail. Third: Oh, yeah, baby! The Burn Notice Charger . . . both too hot and too cool. Besides, it really reminds me of #1 above . . . {And Fiona ain't a bad seat cover.} * And I NEVER think of that other one.
lanesteele240 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Battery. When i think of charger i think battery charger. The car never crossed my mind
Agent G Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 68-70 model hands down. Hey danno, remember when your "cup holder" sat next to you and wore a poodle skirt? G
Danno Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 68-70 model hands down. Hey danno, remember when your "cup holder" sat next to you and wore a poodle skirt? G No poodles. MINIs, man! No mini, no gettie in the Charger!
Fabrux Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Prior to the release of the modern Charger the first thought in my mind was always a Shelby Charger as my neighbours had one when I was little. My uncle bought it from them and still has it, I think.

Well, I'll be damned, you are BN fan too, would of never guessed, so sad there is only 5 episodes left
ScaleDale Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 The first thing that comes to mind is win lights in the other lane...Dale
1972coronet Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 No poodles. MINIs, man! No mini, no gettie in the Charger! Even better , in my opinion , if the Mini is made of leather or vinyl !
Danno Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Yeppers!!! Especially when loaded with freebie six-packs of Walter's Beer. Edited July 15, 2013 by Danno
Joe Handley Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Anymore when I hear the name Charger, this tends to be the first thing to cross my mind............... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=&FVSEARCH=battery+chargers&search=Go
jbwelda Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 What comes to mind first? Some piece of trash up on blocks behind the local redneck gas station with the homeless tweaker living in it. And that's being kind.
