Tom Geiger Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 This is a minor complaint. But, when reading threads on my iPad, I have troubles reading posts written in script. I like reading what everybody has to say. But, reading things here in script form is just a problem for me. Scott Scott, I get something weird too. There is one poster who always appears in blue script when I'm on my Iphone. Doesn't matter if I'm in phone view, or full view. Same poster, same posts here on my laptop are in regular text. Howz that happen?
unclescott58 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I get the same thing. Too small, too close together.... Yes! Scott
martinfan5 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The third set of Christmas lights getting in cut , is really starting to irk me.
unclescott58 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The third set of Christmas lights getting in cut , is really starting to irk me. What does "getting in cut" mean? Scott
slusher Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 What ticked me off today? I was driving home on the windiest, hilliest, most narrow road in our area. The road runs about 22 miles, and there isn't a decent alternative to getting home. It was dark, and misting rain. It is not uncommon to hear of very bad wrecks on this road. I know of two fatalities in the past few years. Someone, once again, decided they needed to drive right on my bumper, all the way home. With. Their. Bright. Lights. On. Their headlights were so freaking bright that they were overpowering my headlights, and causing my car to cast a frontward shadow onto the road. They had plenty of places to pass, and to pass safely. I only tapped my brake lights 37 times to give them a signal to back off. Man, was I ever ticked. I know that they would have laughed at me, but I almost called the police. You would have too had you been with me. I am talking about INCHES off of my bumper, while I was driving the speed limit. I do believe that Indiana has a law on this. My brother has mentioned it. I have had this happen to me and I will slow down until they pass or I will pull off some place. People can be so rude...
High octane Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Yeah people can be VERY rude and drive with an "Hurray for me, FY" attitude. After all this isn't the 60's anymore.
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Geez, I just need to vent. I've been fighting my 1/12 Shelby, and I'm to the end if my rope. In done!! Some just fight you don't they? They pretty much all do at some point. Some just more than others! Steve
o-man Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I feel your pain. AMT 70 Monte Carlo. Trying to get body on frame and something is interfering. I've had exhaust manifold, parts of interior, exhaust, and firewall fall apart in process. This has been going on most of the week.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Irksome things irked me. Don't they always.
Harry P. Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Today the local McDonalds raised the price of a large coffee from a buck to $1.29. I know, big deal, right? But still... 29% increase. Oh well... the local Thornton's is still at 99ยข...
Joe Handley Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I hope the McD's coffee is better than their hot chocolate then. That's not worth the money spent most of the time, I've bought better from 7-11 as well as the BP near work.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 (edited) Go to Circle K! A 24oz coffee is around $1.75, and if you get a coffee punchcard, you get a free one every seven purchases! Edited December 21, 2014 by chunkypeanutbutter
High octane Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I was at McDonald's this morning and picked up some coffee for my friend and myself as we were heading to a model car meeting, and didn't even notice the price of the coffee. Of course I wasn't about to go coffee shopping to save fifty cents on two cups of coffee either.

Tom Geiger Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I feel your pain. AMT 70 Monte Carlo. Trying to get body on frame and something is interfering. I've had exhaust manifold, parts of interior, exhaust, and firewall fall apart in process. This has been going on most of the week. It's all part of the process. I'm trying to button up the engine compartment on my Volare project. I try to put the firewall in place and the brake master cylinder is colliding with the air cleaner. I remove the master cylinder and figure if I lop off the power booster, it will look right... so manual brakes it is! Then still, the firewall won't sit in place, so it's time to carve it a bit to allow for the transmission to fit under it. Still a few silly things to adjust before it will all go together, still a few hours not planned on!

Harry P. Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Don't you get the "Senior Coffee"?? Don't you have to be a senior citizen to get the senior coffee??

oldnslow Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Our McDonalds coffee is terrible, tastes like it was made the day before and left to sit on the burner.
Harry P. Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Our McDonalds coffee is terrible, tastes like it was made the day before and left to sit on the burner. Every McDonalds has rules for coffee. It can only sit for so long before they have to make a fresh pot.

Ramfins59 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 If I buy coffee "to go" it's Dunkin' Donuts hands down. Breakfasts at Denny's is a good cup of coffee. At home I love my Keurig K-cup coffee.
