Harry P. Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 (edited) Is it the real deal? The answer: REAL! Edited November 16, 2007 by harrypri
MrObsessive Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Hmmm.................that's a real tuffy on a closer look................
ajulia Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 This is my first time trying this so here it goes It is very camoflauged however something isnt right maybe the wheel locks. iwill say model
parki Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 This is a real tough one! going to say real though. Just a hunch, just something about the floor and the reflection. yeah real, final answer.
kelson Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 i'm on the fence on this one,but i'm gonna say model.
gbdolfans Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I am going with model on this one on the basis of the tires. Something doesn't look right with the camber.
VW Dave Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Complete shot in the dark for me.....you sure gave us a tough one this time around, Harry....I'm saying 'real.'
Mad Slammer Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Last time I guessed right. . . so I could be on a roll, well. . . I'll say MODEL. . .
mr moto Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I'll go with model. I think I might even have a good reason this time.
ABC Auto Industry Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 That looks like a model to me. There doesn't appear to be anything that can't be done in scale, and there's nothing in the background to convince me it's the real thing.
VictorSmalls Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Going with model. Something about the way the tires meet the ground. Tuff one though.
Zoom Zoom Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 After careful consideration for 2 days, reading other thoughts, I think it's real. The camber/tire issues are easily explained by the fact that if this is real, it's in a static pose off the racetrack in a studio; the wheel camber is set for a circle track racer that's pulling high-G's in the corners. The way the tires are minimally scuffed doesn't look like something on a model either. My first thought was real, and the more I look the more I'm convinced it's real. That's my final answer, for one million dollars.

ajulia Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Harry! Sounds like you got every one stir crazy this week cant wait to see the final unvailing Goodluck everyone!!!!!! Peace AJulia
stush17 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I believe it is real. It looks as if the photo was taken at Chip Ganassi Racing in Charlotte, NC. The same car is on display there.
s10chevypu Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I"ll say real on this one. It just looks real to me.
bsoder Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I'm going with real!..but I've been wrong before
Southgate Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 This might be the 2nd time I ever "played" here, but I'll go with real. For some of the reasons stated above, and there's something about the floor itself. Looks like painted concrete or something...Dan
ismaelg Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I'm going with real because I am about to start a model of one of those cars. If that's a 1/25 model then I now have a benchmark to try to reach. It looks like a 1:1 non-running display car. If it's a model, then it could be a bigger scale top end diecast model or something. Thanks,
