Piero Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) Here is my last build, a 53 Ford F100, from the AMT Diamond in the rough kit. I wanted a truck in a good condition, but weathered, for my garage and junkyard diorama. And that one has a tow bar, perfect for pictures with the trailer ! Some stuff in the interior... Flathead V8. And here is the new project of the shop ! Leave your comments ! Edited November 8, 2013 by Piero
Piero Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Some more pics : A closer picture of a fender : Under the truck : I'll take outside pictures when the sun will come back
Sixties Sam Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Very nice! Just enough weathering, and well done! Sam
peekay Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Very cool, well thought out details throughout.
DumpyDan Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Sweat! You did a great job on this truck, That AMT kit is nice, good choice.
george 53 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 VERY nicely done Piero, VERY nice! you sure got the effect you were goin for, at least to ME, you did! It came out GREAT!
PappyD340 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Extemely NICE build Pierre, excellent weathering, love the dio setting!!
Piero Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 Hope I'll can take outside pictures tomorrow
Platerpants Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I love my Ford Pickups as long as it drives. Great looking rough truck, id drive it with pride looks like its got its rockers still(unlike my 1:1 2000). Great work!
bbowser Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Great model! Just the right amount of weathering to be convincing. I had one of these 1:1 back in the day, should have never sold it.
Dave42 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Nice work. The bent license plate and missing hubcap certainly add to the realism.
Piero Posted November 28, 2013 Author Posted November 28, 2013 Today it was sunny ( cold but sunny), so I've taken some outside pictures of my truck ! Enjoy,
Dr. Cranky Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Just a few words: LONG LIVE RUST. Well done, chap, and the effects are subtle and the details keep us viewing the model.
James2 Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Rust never sleeps, great looking rig you have there. (The tires could have been sanded down some)
Tom Geiger Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 A great build of one of my all time favorite kits! You've done it proud! The only thing I could suggest is that the loop on the chassis near the back is where the spare tire goes. Add one and you're golden!
59 Impala Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Very well done. The weathering is spot on. Nice, well used truck. Great job. Dan
