DrKerry Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Yup, 4 to 6 here by me, 6 to 9 at where I work today........ Fun times driving home today!!!! YAY!!!! I can hear the snow blower running already!!
Joe Handley Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 We already have a skim layer here, if this keeps up, I may have to at least break out the shovel, if not the snow blower.
High octane Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Please keep that "white stuff" by you Kerry, and thanks!
DrKerry Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Well, they down graded us. Only supposed to be an inch now..... So sorry Nick, more your way?????
High octane Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I know you Kerry, and you're not sorry at all!
Craig Irwin Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 We got about 4 inches of the white fluffy........er, well you know, stuff today, another inch coming tonight. The 7 day forecast has snow listed on 5 of the days. But hey, we've only got about another 10 weeks or so of winter to go...
High octane Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Only 10 weeks or so of winter huh? Well's there's no turnin' back now. I'm already thinkin' car shows, cruise nights, and drag strips, yeah! Hopefully some model building too.
Joe Handley Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Sounds like here, luckily most of what I saw was more just flurries.
crazyjim Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 It got down to a very cold 27 last night and the high today will be 60. About the same temps for the next couple of days. Not good FLA weather.
Agent G Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 68-70 here for the highs, 50's for the lows. G
Danno Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Highs 75 - 77 every day for the next week or week-and-a-half. I don't pay any attention to the lows because they don't matter: I'm asleep or communing with Jack D.
Craig Irwin Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 11 degrees right now, wind chill is -5, another snow storm starts tomorrow afternoon. This stuff has gotten old.
Harry P. Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 It got down to a very cold 27 last night and the high today will be 60. About the same temps for the next couple of days. Not good FLA weather. Wow... lows in the 20s has to be very strange for Florida. What happened to "global warming?"
High octane Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 It's gonna be 80 degrees and sunny tomorrow (Sat.) in Honolulu. I can picture myself there on the North Shore, Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor. I better "wake" up soon so that I can chase the snow blower down the driveway. LOL!
Craig Irwin Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Just looked at the forecast, next week ain't gonna be pretty.
High octane Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Not pretty, but just another winter week. I'm gonna just deal with it as I have plenty to do inside the house, so other than plowing the drive, it's no sweat.
Helix Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Snow....what's that stuff guys, I've only seen it for real once ! We just had a 'heatwave' here in South Australia where the temperature was over 110 Degrees Fahrenheit most of the week Today is a much more nicer 84 degrees... With that sort of heat, comes a lot of bushfires which is not good Cheers Ray

Harry P. Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Just looked at the forecast, next week ain't gonna be pretty. Yup. Back to below zero temps again.
Craig Irwin Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 OK, we've had an inch of snow each hour for the last 6 hours, and the snow plow just closed my driveway in about an hour ago. A half an hour later I get a knock on my door, a teenage girl is stuck in my driveway in the plows wake, she was looking for the teenage boy who lives next door, who wasn't home. Both teens out on a night like this, I guess hormones are still stronger than brains.
Tom Geiger Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 We just had a 'heatwave' here in South Australia where the temperature was over 110 Degrees Fahrenheit most of the week I'd rather have snow!
madhorseman Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Driving was a little treacherous early in the day yesterday..got better as the day went on. Won't it be great to feel like a popsicle again this coming week?!
High octane Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I was out plowing the driveway again this morning and I'm getting good at it. I guess that I have had plenty of experience after living here almost 20 years. LOL!
