1930fordpickup Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 More snow when I got out of bed! OH BOY! Enough already.
Joe Handley Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 And we might be getting one last blast tomorrow.......
Craig Irwin Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Yep! Got up, looked out the window to find a couple of fresh inches.
crazyjim Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Terrible. I have to go to Madison, WI in May. Think it'll warm up by then?
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Gonna be 61 here tomorrow, and 70 by Thursday. Of course, we've had snow and ice storms as late as March, so who knows?
DPNM Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Ok, I am now tired of the Snow and cold. It's been below freezing at least 25 days out of the last 30. At least half of these days were in the teens or below. Just about the time I can clear my sidewalk etc it Snows again. It is Snowing now, on top of what I cleared from Saturday nights Snow. ARRRRRRRGH. Will it ever stop and get somewhat warm?????????????
High octane Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 YES, the snow will eventually stop and the temps will eventually get warmer. I guarantee that!
1930fordpickup Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 YES, the snow will eventually stop and the temps will eventually get warmer. I guarantee that! Within 48 hours of the last bit of snow to melt from the large piles , we will be swatting bugs while reaching for the air switch!
madhorseman Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 3-5 inches predicted for tomorrow. Just great, it's predicted for rush hour tomorrow too!!
High octane Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Roy, a lot could happen between now and tomorrow's morning rush hour. I'm hopin' for the better as luck would have it, I have to be in "rush hour" tomorrow morning as well. Usually when I make appointments for the morning, they are 'bout 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. so that I can avoid "rush hour." But not tomorrow and not Friday afternoon either, sometimes it just works out that way. Cheer up, spring IS comin'.
Craig Irwin Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Winter storm watch starts at noon, 2 to 4 inches with an unknown amount of it being ice. FUN!
High octane Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 The weather is a LOT like traffic, there's not much one can do about it other than stay home.
Joe Handley Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 The weather is a LOT like traffic, there's not much one can do about it other than stay home. There are days I wish that was an option.
Harry P. Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 It's been snowing all day like you wouldn't believe. Unbelievable amount of snow in just a few hours. And tomorrow is supposed to be 40+ degrees... should be an interesting day tomorrow.

Between the weather and what's going on with my store right now, the whole rest of this month is going to be interesting.
High octane Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 It WILL be 40+ degrees tomorrow Harry, I can guarantee that. Where I don't know, and I wouldn't count on it in my neighborhood tomorrow. That's asking for a lot.
Rob Hall Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 85 and sunny here today...whilst eating lunch outside at the mall w/ my coworkers we remarked on how strange and bizzare it is here, when a large part of the country is cold in snowy...of course, in a few months when it's 115 and sunny day after day, week after week....

NW suburban Chicago... view out my front door glass, Monday, Feb. 17, 4:17 PM Central. Don't be fooled by the relatively clear driveway across the street... my crazy neighbor (yeah, he's a Packers fan) has been out shoveling during the snowstorm. Check my mailbox there at the curb... it's probably 4 feet off the ground. Then look at the snow... BTW... it's also been thundering today!
Danno Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 There is nothing I can ~ or should ~ say here. I got a little sunburned today.
crazyjim Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I dug out a wheelbarrow full of pine cone ginger and transplanted a bunch of mexican petunias.
Tom Geiger Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 And a side effect of a cold winter... my yard is one big dog poop freezer!
Pete J. Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 There is nothing I can ~ or should ~ say here. I got a little sunburned today. Yea me too. I was painting my fence and pruning the shrubs. Forgot to put on a hat!
