AMT kit,
DSCN0799-vi.jpg

Painted Duplicolor silver exterior with Future clear. Interior painted Krylon Burgandy with silver accents. Front grille opened and de-chromed along with most other exterior accents. Only bumpers and part of hood ornament left in chrome. Lowered front suspension about one scale inch. Bed wood made from brown and tan Detailer, followed by a light mist of silver. Then used silver Sharpie on rails followed by several coats of Krylon gloss clear. On with the pictures.

Another SHINY :) :) :) one. You're on a roll, Oscar. What are you using for the wood floors in the box?

The third time was a charm, lol. I primed and sanded it.

Then I used tan The Detailer over the whole bed followed by brown The Detailer on every other board.

I already used silver Sharpie on bed slats to make sure my idea would work. If it didn't, bed floor would be black. I think shot a light mist of exterior color followed by several coats of Krylon gloss clear.

The silver is very subtle unless you get under a bright light or camera flash.

Thanks for all the compliments!!

The silver was a great choice for that truck, really nice build. That is such a great kit, it goes together real well
