kilrathy10 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) Well, I finished this one up, today....I had quite a bit of fun with this one.....Using the snap KW W900 kit from Revell, I exercised all kinds of artistic license....I scratch built the bed, stretched the frame and used Italeri rims and tires for it....The kit wheels were just, totally unusable....Sometimes they work and other times they just don't....Hadn't really had a problem with them until this rig, for the most part, though....Anyway, I made a Texas bumper for it and added spare decals I had laying around from all sorts of other rigs to come up with this scheme.....And, for the life of me, I don't know what to put on the back of this thing, yet....Toying around with some ideas, but right now I got nothing.... Decals are still trying to lay down.... Edited February 27, 2014 by kilrathy10
kilrathy10 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Posted February 27, 2014 Center hub is a leftover from the Moebius Lonestar....
Belugawrx Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Very nice build Is that dullcote on the wheels? I like
purepmd Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 That is a whole lot of cool for just 10 tires. Very well done JT.
tbill Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 looks great JT, another killer build for the fleet. i must say though, that one woulda really looked good in orange
Brinx Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Man! That is one fine lookin' hauler JT. I especially like they way you put the stripe decals to work, spot on. As for the load.. Bet a short wheel-based, race tractor (or puller tractor) would fit perfectly on the back. brinx
towman1271 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Impressed yet again...Don't know how you do it!
Jim B Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Looks really nice. I like how you used the stripes fro the Revell USA Peterbilt kit. Very cool. The truck looks much better with the bigger tires.
Old Buckaroo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 This turned out so swell I think you should build your own "race semi" for it. I double dog dare you
freightshaker Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Looks great man, clean. Job well done!
mistermodel Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) fantastic.I also think you should build a race truck for it. google GATR for ideas Edited February 27, 2014 by mistermodel

farmer1 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 That's really nice JT, great looking truck, it will compliment anything you put on the back of it !
kilrathy10 Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Thanks, Guys.....I'm glad you all like this one as much as I do.....I'm taking all your suggestions to heart....I still don't know, though....As the race rigs are a little hard to come by, I'm probably gonna do something a little different.....Can't see dropping too much dough on one of those rare kits....No Way....I'll find something, though....Got that hamster in the wheel running pretty fast, right now....
Pavel A. Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 JT, I like it. Nice and very clean work. Pure pleasure....really good KW.
