traditional Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) My brother, Larry, just sent me pics of his completed trailer to go with his recently completed '59 White 3400 Diesel Tractor. The trailer is entirely scratch-built (mostly brass) using reference of covered-wagon style trailers from that era, and it's painted in basecoat/clearcoat to match the tractor's livery. All the useable sides, hoops, rope, and tarp are stacked in the front area of the trailer, and I noticed that he's even run the simulated wiring to the tail-lights, etc. Edited March 8, 2014 by traditional

tbill Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 what an amazing job, as said, stunning. wonderful looking model, just can't say enough about it.
kilrathy10 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 That is probably the most awesome thing I've seen this year....This is a work of ART....I can't say enough of how good this thing looks....Masterful.....
Old Albion Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Excellent! The details are incredible including the little padlock on the spare wheel. This is true model engineering in its finest expression, simply superb.
Plastheniker Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 The trailer is as impressive as the tractor. Considering that working with brass is much more difficult than styrene: admirable work!
krazyglu Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 The Read Bros. work just amazes me, true craftsmen.
the goon Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 what an amazing job, as said, stunning. wonderful looking model, just can't say enough about it. +1. Mark
