Speedpro Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Here's a build I finished a couple years back. Had a hard time trying to figure where to post it. It started as a amt '95 S-10 p/u then add the soft seal '57 to it. The chassis was stretched and adjusted the wheel base. The body is out of the box with the bed being covered. The engine is the one out of the '57 but added the induction and some details. Tried to use most of the stock interior. The floor is from the '57 and a roll cage was added. Thanks for looking. Thanks for looking.
slusher Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Very impressive and cool build. Great engine detail and paint also...
Chi-Town Hustler Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Great looking build!!....Although with that beefy-looking powerplant, you might want to put some wheelie bars and a 'chute on the back of that thing!!....Super clean work!!
PappyD340 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Super NICE truck Paul, nice color combo and excellent engine detail, well done!

Speedpro Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Thanks for the comments Everyone! Really appreciate it.x2, love the color combo, is that a grey? what silver do you use for you manifold? looking for a satin, flat, matte silver and am having no luck.To answer your ? Tubbs, The gray on the body is Tamiya Light gun metal TS-42 and the color I used on the intake manifold is tamiya TS-17 Gloss aluminum And then it was sprayed with dullcoat. You can also just try some dullcoat over the silver. You might like that.Paul
DirtModeler Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Love everything about that build! I just pray my truck project comes out half that nice!

Paul thanks for the reply Paul, that's what I figured. everyone has real good luck with Tamiya. a little pricy for my wallet, but man, does it give you outstanding results. may just have to take the plunge. looking to do a satin finish on some centerlines, in your opinion, will the Tamiya give me that look? thanks, sorry for the 20 questions....
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Clean, perfect stance, and looks wicked fast.
pharr7226 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That is one mean looking truck. The paint and engine detail look great.
PARTSMARTY Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 You rock!!!-Amazing-engine bay is over the top-wow!!!
Speedfreak Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Yikes! That thing looks scary fast. Great build. You should build one like this with the engine in the back like The Little Red Wagon, that would be cool.
