robiwon Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Here is a shot that was tweeted by the director of the Superman vs Batman movie. I like what I see so far! Long, low and sleek seems to the order of the day, not the chubby Bumbler.
Joe Handley Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I loved the Tumbler, at least it doesn't look like it should be like those two Post-Keaton/Pre-Bale Batmobiles!
slusher Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) I agree with Billy Joe, I liked the Tumbler also. It was a cool and tuff ride for Batman.. Edited May 13, 2014 by slusher
CJ1971 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 To me, this will always be the ONLY Batmobile. Same goes for me ??
peter31a Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Well, I hate to pile on but my friends know that, in this case, I agree with Lee. The one and only Batmobile.
robiwon Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Hmm, I didn't really put this thread up to discuss a 40+ year old car. I kinda wanted to see what people thought of the new one. Oh well, I'll jump on board then with a quote from Agent J from Men in Black II- "Old and busted" "The new Hotness" Edited May 13, 2014 by robiwon
Daddyfink Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 If the new one can really run around like a Tumbler, then it has my vote. We shall see.
Jantrix Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 The Burton batmobile captured my imagination like no other. It just exuded power and armor and stealth and oh-so-much Bat-style! It just doesn't get any better than this.
1930fordpickup Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Apples and Bananas to compare the original to anything created decades later. Lets see the new one with the tarp off before we judge. So far it is interesting. Though the later cars may look cool they just seemed to be straight line racers to me. That tumbler thing I just shake my head.
Joe Handley Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 If the new one can really run around like a Tumbler, then it has my vote. We shall see. This, the Tumbler was a real vehicle that could perform on command when it came time to get it on!

Loved this one and the 90's Animated Series Batombiles too............could be that they looked like they belonged scream across the dried lake beds of this country too......
Psychographic Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 http://jalopnik.com/the-next-batmobile-this-is-it-1575628144
1930fordpickup Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 From the link about it looks better than everything but the 66 TV show Car.
Dave Van Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Per folks that have seen it.....a mix of Burton and Nolan Batmobiles.....so.....

robiwon Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) And, after seeing the canopy behind Ben, I'm going to vote as well. thpppppppp!!! on the new Tumbler. The canopy looks dumb. How the Hell does he get in it? I bet it flips and folds and splits open like a Transformer! Nope, for me give me Anton Furst's Keatonmobile! Edited May 13, 2014 by robiwon
Harry P. Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I agree with those who say the TV Batmobile from the '60s is the one and only. By far, the best looking of all the various Batmobiles.
