ratdoggy Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Not every day you are behind one of these........Although the picture is from last summer
ChrisPflug Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Saw a rusty but straight blue-green '71 4- door Matador parked on the street with a two page typed for sale ad in the window- 21,000 miles owned by a local widow who drove it to church etc.. Asking price was $2500
oldcarfan Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Another 2015 Mustang with manufacturer's plates and a 2015 F-150, the aluminum one. I still can't post pictures, sorry....
Jaguar man 21 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Is that a tucker your behind, if it is that's amazing
1930fordpickup Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 While going to help my buddy load a Sea Scooter ( the first personal water craft) to sell at Hersey I spotted his new 48 Studebaker Champion . It goes well with his 49 Champion and his 60's Lark Pickup.
Jaguar man 21 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I've only seen a few Tucker's at shows but seeing one on the road must be incredable, truly amazing cars
unclescott58 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Not every day you are behind one of these........Although the picture is from last summer Wow! That is a Tucker! Very cool. Scott
Rob Hall Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Saw a cream w/ black roof '50-51 Chevy Bel Air hardtop, very clean. Also saw a late model Tahoe in bright red w/ yellow Ferrari fender badges and one on the tailgate...must be a tifosi.
Danno Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Saw an absolutely astonishingly beautiful, perfect in every detail, restored '54 Hudson coupe (deep metallic green) in north Phoenix. Also a faded yellow survivor '70 Montego 4dr and a dark metallic red 2000+ Thunderbird that was immaculate. Just drivin' around, all three of them.
Tom Geiger Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 That was definitely a Tucker. Maybe.... there is a company in New Jersey, IDA Automotive that made some pretty realistic Tucker replicas on Cadillac chassis!
Tom Geiger Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Saw this one on our little jaunt to Delaware yesterday. A Ford Flex woody complete with surfer decals on the side glass! The license plate read "PILE IN". No doubt an available aftermarket kit, but it looked soooo good! We were out for a drive looking at cars yesterday and this one was at a dealership. I have no idea how many miles or how much they are asking since the dealer was closed. But it is my favorite little bugger, a much newer Tracker than mine, and in my favorite color!
unclescott58 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I've always thought, from the first time I saw the Ford Flex, it needed a wood grained "Country Squire" option package. It's ugly. But, I think it would sell. Ford is missing the boat on this one. Scott
Harry P. Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 I've only seen a few Tucker's at shows but seeing one on the road must be incredable, truly amazing cars Odds are it was a copy, not a real one. Remember, they made a bunch of fakes for the movie "Tucker," so it's possible this one was also a clone.

I figure if I see a '60s style Cobra roadster 99% of the time it's a replica, unless I'm at an event like Barrett-Jackson (lots of replicas there too, though) or the Coronado Festival of Speed or Pebble Beach. I think I've only seen two Tuckers in person, both were at auctions (RM). Edited October 5, 2014 by Rob Hall
Tom Geiger Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I think I've only seen two Tuckers in person, both were at auctions (RM). I saw the Tucker that's part of the Smithsonian collection. Apparently the US government confiscated this one in a federal case.
The70judgeman Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 There was a Tucker at "World Of Wheels" here in Milwaukee a number of years ago. It even still had the original fitted Tucker luggage too. I think I may have a picture or two(not digital) in a photo album.
Joe Handley Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 A Cummins Ram pulling a gooseneck with a blue with white top Plymouth Superbird on it while running between work and the hospital Mom is currently in.

The Tucker Mike took a picture of has been in this area for 30yrs that I know of and has been to Stan Hywet Hall annual Fathers Day car show many times and in fact is a real McCoy with the proper documentation .

I always heard that they got almost every real Tucker still out there to appear in that movie. The only fake Tucker in the movie I knew of was the car they used in the roll over scene. From my understanding that was a Studebaker dress up to look like a Tucker. There were fake parts sitting in the factory next to the assembly line. But, I know of no out right fake Tuckers made for that movie. On this I maybe wrong. I'd like to see some evidence of this if I am wrong. Scott Edited October 8, 2014 by unclescott58
Jaguar man 21 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Saw an all original bmw 2002, man I want one so bad
DonW Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I still have my 2002 turbo road / race car but it's not been on the road for years 'cos life got in the way. I keep dreaming, for me it's the perfect car! I drove various '02s as daily drivers with a bit of club racing thrown in for over 25 years.

It had no interior but a seat and steering wheel. I'm guessing it was for the movie. Edited October 8, 2014 by ratdoggy
