Agent G Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Just spied a Model A cabriolet on a trailer behind a moving truck. She was "bug yellow" with black fenders and top. Looked like a pretty good stock restoration. That said it was dark, and I was on the freeway headed to work. G
Sixx Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 (edited) Around 3pm today, going westbound on RTE 30 in Merilleville IN, I was crusing next to a 2015 Stang...a muted orange color with a single solid black stripe, front to back and blacked out wheels. Looked pretty dang cool ! Edited December 24, 2014 by Sixx

drummerdad Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Not today, but a few months ago. I saw this.... Bugati veyron. He was running down I40 at about 90 mph. I made my wife catch up so I could take this shot. There were several other cars trying to catch up also. He was running with several other high end cars, who apparently were running defense for him.
peter31a Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Nobody Nothing Streets were clear and dry 45* I thought I was dreaming Great day Amen on that Bruce! It was great to go to Christmas supper, a 45 minute drive away, without having to worry about blowing snow, icy roads or any of that nonsense.
TimJ Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 I saw a very nice 1972 Ford Ranchero while I was out today. There can't be too many of them here in the UK. .
unclescott58 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I saw a very nice 1972 Ford Ranchero while I was out today. There can't be too many of them here in the UK. . Not many left here in the States either. At least not around here were they use salt on the roads in winter. Scott
Roadrunner Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Interesting thread I haven't seen much of anything interesting around here in a long while. Winter doesn't help that though. The last cool car I can remember seeing here, was a really nice 30's something or another, couldn't really tell, as it was in an opposing lane in traffic.
Earl Marischal Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 The other day I saw a real yellow US School Bus in a driveway in a nearby village. Not seen one in the UK before. steve

Not the whole tire, just the sidewalls, but still,... orange tires? Edited January 4, 2015 by Roadrunner

Not the whole tire, just the sidewalls, but still,... orange tires? You know, back in the seventies there was a story in Hot Rod magazine about Goodyear making some colored tires but that was the last I ever heard of them. They had pics of orange and blue and maybe some other colors. Big Daddy used to run orange front tires on his first rear engined Swamp rat.

chunkypeanutbutter Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I had no idea, Miles. Seems strange to me, but to each his own I guess. I personally don't see the point. Whitewalls? Yeah, I'd put those on anything. But orange?
